I just got some great news and thought you would like to hear about it. When we had the Friday night prayer sessions a few weeks ago, we were praying for increased finances in the house, for unexpected raises in pay. I grabbed hold of that...

I continued praying it through, even though I had been told by several people at my job that NO ONE gets a raise here until their one year review. Since I only started about 4 months ago, it wasn't looking like a raise was very likely. Still, I thanked God that His will would be done, and continued to plow away at working two jobs, working about 60 hours a week, plus serving at church.

Today, my boss pulled me aside and said that about a month ago (the time we had that corporate prayer) she had submitted a letter to her boss, who in turn submitted a letter to the head of our practice, asking if they could give me a raise. The process took all month, but he approved, and today I found out that I will be receiving a pay raise!!!

This NEVER happens here....but my Daddy in heaven is FAITHFUL!!!  Tithing, giving, fasting, and praying DOES PAY OFF!!!

Most importantly, I know the raise didn't come from my skill, but simply because He loves me. How awesome is that?!!!  I thought you would enjoy hearing it.
