Greetings,
First we would like to thank God for directing us to such an awesome church where we are not being feed carrots and peas but steak. Since we came to this church God has been moving in our lives so much and has been turning us around 360 degrees.
We have only been here in Atlanta for 3 months after moving from Florida. We heard and knew that Atlanta would have hundreds of churches ranging from mega ministries to store front churchs, so we believed our search for the right church would be an adventure. But passing by the church several times on our way to Walmart, the IGO caught our eyes.
First, the name caught our eyes first. IGO. Sorry to say we are jokesters, so we initially picked on the name. "Oh where do you go?" "Oh I go to I-GO." Corny we know. But God directed us to come anyways to the church on the Wednesday night.
We both laugh when we think about our first reaction to the church. Being greeted with hugs from everyone we passed and then being separated from each other never to be seen again until the end of bible study. Coming from a traditional non-denominational church where you had the traditional bible study where everyone is together. We loved the separation and being taught on a woman and man's bases. That night we shared how excited these people of IGO were about God and how they really wanted to seek his face. That night was the beginning of a truly awesome work in God.
We continued coming to the church for a month and after 1 month we decided to get connected with the ministry and allow God to move in us how he sees fit. This ministry has made an impact in our lives by helping us with this Faith walk. Through being connected with this ministry it makes us strive to seek God's face for ourselves.
We love how every time we leave the bible study, fresh start class, bondage breaker, and Sunday services we have an energy to study God's Word and we have a hunger to know more. We both have a passion for ministry and are eager to use our talents and gifts to further advance His kingdom. Thank you once again for being a blessing to our family and may God richly bless you.
